Class Skills:
Class Skills
The Dreadsinger's class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Bluff (Cha), Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Decipher Script (Int), Diplomacy (Cha), Disguise (Cha), Gather Information (Cha), Hide (Dex), Knowledge (all skills, taken individually) (Int), Listen (Wis), Move Silently (Dex), Perform (Cha), Profession (Wis), Sense Motive (Wis), Sleight of Hand (Dex), Spellcraft (Int), Swim (Str), and Use Magic Device (Cha).
Skill Points at Each Level: 4 + Int modifier

Bardic Music: A dreadsinger expands her repertoire of bardic music to encompass new songs or poetics of strange and wondrous power. These effects function just as the bardic music effects. Each use of a dreadsinger song expends one daily use of the character's bardic music ability.

A dreadsinger adds one-half her class level (rounded down) to her bard level to determine her number of daily uses of bardic music.

Charnal Touch: A dreadsinger adds it's dreadsinger levels to it's dread necromancer levels to determine the strength of her Charnal Touch class ability.

Rebuke Undead: A dreadsingers level stacks with her Dread Necromancer level and any rebuking levels when determining her effective cleric level for rebuking undead.

Bardic Knowledge: Starting at 2nd level, a dreadsinger continues to collect the odd bits of lore and knowledge that bards acquire. She can add her dreadsinger class level to her bardic knowledge checks, so her bardic knowledge checks have a bonus equal to her bard level + her dreadsinger level + her Int modifier.

Requiem: At 3rd level, a dreadsinger gains requiem as a bonus feat even if she does not qualify for it.

Song of Sorrow: At 4th level, a dreadsinger can evoke sorrow and lament in her enemies. To be affected, an enemy must be able to hear the dreadsinger perform. The effect lasts for as long as the enemy hears the dreadsinger perform and for 5 rounds thereafter. An affected enemy takes a —2 penalty on Will saving throws and a —2 penalty on attack rolls and weapon damage rolls. A successful Will save (DC 10 + the dreadsinger's ranks in Perform) negates the effect and makes the character immune to that dreadsinger's song of sorrow ability for 24 hours. Song of sorrow is a mind-affecting ability.

Advanced Learning (Ex): At 5th level, a dreadsinger can add a new spell to her list, representing the result of personal study and experimentation. The spell must be a cleric or wizard spell of the necromancy school, and of a level no higher than that of the highest-level spell the dreadsinger already knows. Once a new spell is selected, it is added to that dread necromancer's spell list and can be cast just like any other spell she knows. If a spell is both a cleric spell and a wizard spell, use the lower of the two spell levels (when different) to determine what level the spell is for a dreadsinger. A dreadsinger gains an additional new spell at 10th and 15th level.

Inspire Courage: Starting at 6th level and then again at 12th level a dreadsinger increases the bonus of her inspire courage bardic song by 1.

Light Fortification: Starting at 7th level, a dreadsinger gains 25% resistance to critical hits; this is the equivalent of the light fortification armor special ability described on page 219 of the Dungeon Master's Guide. At 14th level, this fortification increases to 50%.

Desecration (Su): At 8th level, a dreadsinger begins to exert her authority over undead. This aura is identical to the effects of the desecrate spell (see page 218 of the Player's Handbook) except that it affects only allied undead.

Summon Familiar: At 9th level or anytime thereafter, a dreadsinger can obtain a familiar. The familiar she acquires is more powerful than a standard wizard's or sorcerer's familiar, but it is unequivocally evil. The player of a dreadsinger character chooses one of the following creatures: imp (devil), quasit (demon), vargouille, or ghostly visage. All these creatures are described in the Monster Manual except for the ghostly visage, an undead symbiont described on page 221 of the Fiend Folio.
A dreadsinger's familiar gains the usual familiar benefits given on pages 52—53 of the Player's Handbook, with two exceptions. Its type does not change, and it does not gain the exceptional ability to speak with other creatures of its kind.A dreadsinger's familiar can use its ability to deliver touch spells such as its master's charnel touch. The master must use a standard action to imbue the touch attack into her familiar.

Song of Bolstering (Su): At 11th level and higher, a dreadsinger can bolster undead creatures against turning, much as an evil cleric does. All undead within 30 feet of the dreadsinger gain a bonus on their turn resistance equal to the dreadsinger's class level plus the dreadsinger's bard class level. The bolstering lasts for as long as the dreadsinger performs and for 10 rounds thereafter. An undead dreadsinger can bolster himself in this manner.

Concerto of the Dead: At 13th level all undead created by the dreadsinger are treated as having perform ranks equal to 1/2 of her own perform ranks. In addition they may assist her in her bardic songs to add a bonus of +1 per 6 dreadsinger levels. To maintain this benefit there must be a number of undead performing equal to twice her dreadsinger level so a 7th level dread singer must have 14 HD of undead performing and a 15th level dreadsinger would need 30 HD of undead performing to provide the bonus. Alternatively she may have a group of undead maintain a song that she has already started, allowing her to start a new song while the first one is still going. In order to maintain a song the total HD of undead performing must be twice the effective bard level for the song. In addition all undead in the group must meet the perform requirements for the song. For example to maintain a song at an effective bard level of 20 there must be 40 HD of undead performing.

Bonesinger Transformation: At 15th level, the dreadsinger shuffles off her mortal coil and becomes a bonesinger. She gains the Bonesinger template from ghostwalk with a few modifications. As a free action the dreadsinger may suppress her singing bones ability losing both the benefit and the penalty of the ability. The dreadsinger may only express her singing bones ability while she is conscious. In addition a dreadsinger gains +4 turn resistance.
