I'm considering participating in an Evil campaign soon and I'm hoping to come to the table with a suitable character. I was thinking of making an Alchemist Mad Scientist archetype from Horror Adventures. However, I've heard this group is high op and I don't wanna fall behind. Is this archetype viable as a PC? What other archetypes go well with it? I'd be losing my 2nd and 4th level discoveries but any archetype that doesn't depend on those is fair game. What do you recommend?
