Hi im starting in a eberron campaign this january.

The dm told me that i can make a character

Starting lvl 10
Core race +warforged, changeling, kalashtar, shifter, drow as playable races.
1 multiclasses
1 template

The party that i have so far is

Human half dragon paladin
Dwarf cleric
Elf wizard
One of the other player is thinking doing a human knight and an other player think going half orc barbarian

So i was thinking going bard to debuff and buff. With half elf so i can take the bard variation.

So i was looking for feat and such and came upon knowledge devotion+ collector of stories(skill trick). So i started to see the potential on a duskblade build.

Now im like i can go duskblade and be more field control with this feat or stay bard with it to help me as i dont have full bab.

What should i do.

What i want to play. Is someone that can fight and know alot of stuff. Like the knowledge skill.

Anyone have experience with the 2 class with that feat. So you can tell me about if it good or not

Factotum 8 into chameleon prestige class.
That is literally the "I don't know what I'm going to play, so I'll be everything" build.

Bard with a dip into a melee or aura class would work really well. This would let you be the party face.

For race, what ability or abilities are you looking for?

NOTE: Changeling bard with a one level dip in Marshall to motivate charisma with charisma or 3 levels to get charisma to both dex and charisma works really really well. You will be able to max Bluff, diplomacy, and disguise to be pretty much anyone you want to be when ever you want to be them. For RP, you can turn into different people depending on what role you want to take. I'd also max sense motive and gather info. Go into town as a traveling entertainer. Change into your "Tough" look to go into a seedy bar and gather info. Turn into your "Pretty boy" look to go deal with the queen. You'd have many options for RP while still being a solid support character in combat.

Thank for the reply.

Factotum chameleon have made me laugh xD.

As for changeling bard/marshall that could work.

I have thinking half fey to gain charm person at-will. But not sure for the template as it +2.

Otherwise i would be looking for int and cha bonus

Lol.

I was thinking at marshal.

Marshal 1/bard X(9)
Human(for feat and favored class any)/template with cha and int bonus

Using aura and bard buff with the knowledge devotion and maybe draconic aura feat for an other aura
