Your GM may rule that some things are just not suitable for use in certain ways; for example, gluing a dead orc’s face to your own face won’t help you disguise yourself as an orc.

My one regret is to have not been there to see someone attempt this.

It was a ruling for the Improvisational Equipment (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/traits/equipment-traits/improvisational-equipment) trait, for the curious.

Nope, you gotta use magic to glue a dead orc's face to yours and have it work.

What if you were also an orc?

After all it worked for Human>Human in Silence of the Lambs.

To be fair, I can actually see that as a really creepy spell...

I believe that would count as a monster mask. Works in dim light at a distance, or at least it gives you a bonus of some sort.

They printed it for Second Darkness. With the full and stated expectation that you'd spend a whole book walking around in the skins of drow you killed.

Why does this give me flashbacks to Borderlands? :smalleek:

I was referencing the fact that they made a spell which consists entirely of cutting off someone's face and making it your own. Just the face, too, not the rest of their appearance, though, IIRC, there's a spell for that too.

We have a child character at our table(not a child player), so we've already had to adapt to certain things being out of permission already.

Transplant Visage (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/t/transplant-visage). Since it's permanent, if you have it on your list you should probably be using it.

I would allow a player to do that, if they cited the Arya precedent.

Specifically Tales from the Borderlands...

A party isn't a party until it's a face pizza party!
