So in the dmg(pg183) Blackguard can get a cat, dire rat, horse, pony, raven, or a toad for its Fiendish servant.
Is there another list somewhere that can give ANYTHING ELSE, this character is not aiming for a mounted combat build, is there an ACF for it?

Honestly, there's not a lot of useful material I can find with Google. However, there is one option you may really enjoy: a dragon (per Draconomicon, pg. 140). Problem is, you gotta be a higher-level character to really enjoy a lot of these.

Personal recommendation is a dragonnel until you can get to young red dragon. Wyverns seem meaner, but the dragonnel flies better, and roar seems better than the stinger. The picture seems all "shiny", but note they can be red-brown, and with that coloration and thos curved horns and wings, it could actually look fairly fiendish in appearance.

If you get a bigger dragon type, remember they don't get more special abilities depending on what you get. I wouldn't necessarily dismiss the dragonnel just because you can ride a young red or juvenile green, unless you just have to have better flight speed and/or breath weapon.

Young red dragon it is, I am starting the class at Character lvl 18(CR11 special because of race) so at 2nd lvl in it I will have the mount and at CR20 i will Be Character level 27 which means i will be treated as a Character lvl 18, giving it Improved evasion, share spells, emphatic link, share saving throws, Improved speed, Blood bond, +6 HD making it a Adult red dragon with 22hd, +8 Natural armor giving it a total of +29 Natural armor, +3 str giving it a Str of 36/13, It has 8 feats, 1 of the eight being a Epic lvl feat, and finally it gets +1 to con(22) +4 to Cha(20).

Wow I would really like this.... but not going for the horse men. Thanks for your input. I like the nighmare a lot. I was thinking i could get something aken to the cohort from leadership, (dragon cohort added to this was perfect)
