Ledaks are ancient constructs, the creations of some long-extinct civilization. Little is known of the civilization that created the Ledaks, but their purpose is obvious: to destroy. Ledaks are little more than spheres of adamantine, about 3 feet in diamater, with a multifaceted, opalescent gem serving as their “eye”. Ledaks naturally levitate about 2 ft. above the ground, gliding through the air silently, and can fire destructive rays of energy through their gemstone eye. Ledaks are capable of speech, in a ominous, metallic voice, but speak in no modern language. Divinations have revealed that their vocabulary is not very complex–most simply shout “exterminate” or “delete” in whatever ancient tongue they speak. Most Ledaks are found deep underground, sealed in the ruins of their ancient civilization, but those that can escape the ruins often fly to the surface, and begin exterminating all life they can find.

Rays (Su)
As a standard action, a Ledak can fire a ray of energy at a creature. The ray has a range of 60 ft. A Ledak has access to three different rays it can use. The first is the force ray, a blast of concussive energy that deals 10d4 points of force damage, and can be used at will. The second is the stun ray. A creature hit by the stun ray must make a DC 18 Fortitude save or be stunned for 1d3 rounds. Once a Ledak has used its stun ray, it must wait 1 round before it can use it again. The final ray is the disintegration ray, which deals 30d6 points of damage. However, if the creature struck successfully makes a DC 18 Fortitude save, then the damage is reduced to 5d6. A creature or object reduced to 0 or fewer hp, then it is entirely disintegrated. A Ledak can use its disintegration ray only once per day. All saves are Intelligence-based.

Skills
A Ledak has a +8 racial bonus on Intimidate checks and on Survival checks made to track creatures.

Creating a Ledak
Ledaks can be created, just like any construct, by any spellcaster that meets their prerequisites. However, in addition to creating the body of the Ledak and casting the spells required to animate it, the creator must also provide an artifice matrix, a form of lesser artifact that serves as the brain and power source of the Ledak. Artifice matrixes cannot be created. However, if the creator destroys another Ledak, he can scavenge its artifice matrix. In addition, artifice matrices are occasionally, but rarely, found in subterranean ruins of the civilization that created the Ledaks. Created Ledaks speak the same language as their creator.

The body of a Ledak is made from a 8 pounds of refined adamantine, as well as a carved opal of extraordinary quality, worth a total of 500 gp. Assembling the body requires a DC 18 Craft (Armorsmithing or Weaponsmithing) check. Once the body is assembled, the artifice matrix must be properly inserted within it, requiring a DC 18 Knowledge (Arcana) check.

CL 13th. Craft Construct, disintegrate, geas/quest, levitate, magic missile, symbol of stunning. Cost 33,000 gp + 2,600 xp. Price 65,000 gp.

Ah yes, I do love anagrams. I rather THOUGHT that's what it was, before I even clicked.

Looks good, too.

I've already done that (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20649&highlight=artifact), although it's with an "i", not a "u". Scroll down a bit.
