RAVAGER (PALADIN)

Code of Conduct: Unlike normal paladins, using poisons does not violate a ravager's Code of Conduct provided they are only used against evil creatures.

Wrathful Hand (Su): Beginning at 2nd level, a ravager channels the holy wrath of the gods. Each day she can use this ability a number of times equal to 1/2 his paladin level + her Charisma modifier. As a touch attack, a ravager can cause 1d4 points of damage for every two paladin levels she possesses. Using this ability is a standard action that does not provoke attacks of opportunity.

Alternatively, a ravager can use this power to heal good aligned creatures, restoring 1d4 hit points for every two levels the ravager possesses. This ability is modified by any feat, spell, or effect that specifically works with the lay on hands paladin class feature.

This replaces the paladin's lay on hands.

Aura of Cowardice: At 3rd level, a ravager radiates a palpably daunting aura that causes all enemies within 10 feet to take a –4 penalty on saving throws against fear effects. Creatures that are normally immune to fear lose that immunity while within 10 feet of a ravager with this ability. This ability functions only while the ravager remains conscious, not if he is unconscious or dead.

This replaces the paladin's aura of courage.

Ravages (Su): At 3rd level, and every three levels thereafter, a ravager can select one cruelty. Each cruelty adds an effect to the ravager's wrathful hand ability. Whenever the ravager uses wrathful hand, the target also may receive the additional effect from one of the cruelties possessed by the ravager. This choice is made when the touch is used. The target receives a Fortitude save to avoid this cruelty. If the save is successful, the target takes the damage as normal, but not the effects of the cruelty. The DC of this save is equal to 10 + 1/2 the ravager's level + the ravager’s Charisma modifier.

This replaces the paladin's mercies.

Channel Good (Su): At 4th level, a ravager, rather than channeling positive energy, instead channels the pure holy power of her deity. This ability is similar to channeling positive energy, but instead of healing living and dealing damage to undead creatures, this blast of holy energy automatically heals good creatures and debilitates evil creatures within its burst.

Channeling this causes a burst that affects all creatures in a 30-foot radius centered on the ravager. In the case of good creatures, the amount of damage healed is equal to 1d4 points of damage and increases by 1d4 at every two levels beyond 1st (to a maximum of 10d4 at 19th level). Evil creatures in the burst receive a Will saving throw to negate this damage. Evil creatures that fail their saving throws are sickened for 1d4 rounds. Evil creatures with a number of Hit Dice less than or equal to the ravager's class level – 5 that fail their saving throws are nauseated for 1 round and then sickened for 1d4 rounds instead. The DC of this save is equal to 10 + 1/2 the ravager's level + the ravager's Charisma bonus. Neutral creatures are unaffected by this burst of holy energy.

A ravager must expend two uses of her wrathful hand ability to use channel good. Doing so is a standard action that does not provoke attacks of opportunity. A ravager can choose whether or not to include herself in this effect. A ravager must present her holy symbol as the divine focus for this ability.

For the purposes of feats that affect channel energy, this ability counts as channeling positive energy. If the feat changes the way the ravager channels or deals damage with her channeling, use the amount of damage this ability heals good creatures to determine the damage-dealing potential of the affected ability.

This ability replaces channel positive energy.

Spells: Add the following spells to the paladin list. These spells lose the evil descriptor and gain the good descriptor, if they possessed it in the first place, and may only be used to effect evil creatures.
1st- Cause Fear, Doom
2nd- Blindness/Deafness, Scare
3rd- Bestow Curse, Contagion
4th- Fear, Poison

Hmm, I like this, a good take on a... scourge-y Paladin!
