Smite Spell Question

What are your guys thoughts about having the smite spells work on all weapons, as it varies between the smite spells, just wanted to know your thoughts?

This would open up smites to work on ranged weapons, but that should already be a thing to be honest.


I already rule it as such in my games, and it hasn't been a problem.
