Incantatrix and Sculpt Spell

A couple of times per day the Incantatrix can apply metamagic to a spell already in place. How does this interact with Sculpt Spell, or any other metamagic that would alter the shape of the spell? Who gets to decide the new shape, and how does the placement change?

A couple of times per day the Incantatrix can apply metamagic to a spell already in place. How does this interact with Sculpt Spell, or any other metamagic that would alter the shape of the spell? Who gets to decide the new shape, and how does the placement change?The incantatrix chooses the new shape. I think it would be reasonable to rule that the spell has to affect its same origin point, though. For example, changing a cloudkill to a line would make it a 120' line oriented any direction that still crosses the center of the original cloud's area, but it would still move in the direction set when the spell was first cast.
