Someone here - supremely slim though the chance may be - might recall that I once made a short comic about White Wolf's Exalted (http://www.white-wolf.com/exalted/index.php?line=intro), done in the OotS style. It was quite poor in quality, and an obvious derivative of Rich's creation.

In all seriousness, Secret (I'm officially just calling that Abyssal 'Secret') amuses me greatly, and I look forwards to... well... a second strip, mostly. ;)

Only one question - is this comic going to be meant to be accessible to those not already familiar with the setting? Because while the joke is very funny if you know it, I dunno how well it crosses over.

That is the main concern, of course. I have tried to make things a little more broad, but as yet, the majority of the "main" jokes revolve around Exalted; mostly it's the incidental, sub-jokes that are more accessible.

To counteract this a bit, I'm going to try work in a little bit of subtle (and not-so-subtle) exposition into the comic, so people not familiar with the game will get an idea of the basics. You may have noticed that I've already started, with the mention of "champions of the gods" in the first few panels giving people an idea of who the main characters are.

Besides the jokes, though, I have what I think is a pretty good story set to go, so perhaps people can enjoy that; and as time goes by and people can get familiar with the characters, I can gradually derive more humour from their personalities. If not, well, I'll just have to be content with my little niche market.
