[3.5] Baphitaur Krampus?

Saw this picture from Paizo in my Facebook feed today:

I has been trying to think up a Krampus [NPC] build based on a Fiendish Satyr, but now I'm wanting to use a Baphitaur (Underdark p.82) as the base.

Baphitaur (CR 2), Medium Outsider 3, Str +4 Dex +2 Con +2 Cha -2.

Maybe some kind of ToB or gish build? Levels in Bloodhound or Justiciar, maybe?

All thoughts welcome.

I built a use rope focused character back in iron chef's justiciar (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?255215-Iron-Chef-Optimization-Challenge-in-the-Playground-XXXVII&p=13941238&viewfull=1#post13941238) so that might be a jumping off point.

Needs some sort of detect evil.

At the moment I'm leaning towards Outsider 3/Warblade 8/Justiciar 10...

Not sure how to get a Detect Evil on this. A dip into Paladin would do it, but I'm thinking this character would be LN or LE.
