What was your favorite GITP moment in 2016? I could name a few: I made two friends in this forum, I play chess again in the message board and I finally start playing Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 in this forum.

Mine hasn't happened yet. But I'm hoping it happens really soon.

I watched Drako and his infinite clones get banned; that wasn't too bad.

I think my favorite things in 2016 were:
1. Ashiel coming back after a long hiatus,
2. Other awesome people joining our community, and
3. This entertaining quote:
Therefore, you just need a taller statue -- or a sufficiently high pedestal for your statue, if you're a cheese-weasel -- to permanently kill any god in 2e.

Quite a few things which came from discussion for #1031 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots1031.html) - #1038 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots1038.html) are up there for me. Lien and O'Chul, yrthak anticipation, paladin punk rock (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?484800-OOTS-1033-The-Discussion-Thread/page4) and the philosphy of Greyview (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?488870-The-Philosophy-of-Greyview-the-Warg).
The moment when LordDrako finally agreed to leave the D&D 3.5 forum after I and one other poster (insincerely) admitted defeat to the pile of cow dung he called a build.
Of course, it was slightly ruined by the fact that he immediately broke his promise, but in that one moment I felt a sense of triumph that I think equaled that of only one or two other events in my life.
In any case, he left a while after that, and I like to think I helped. Unless he comes back at some point.

In no particular order, except that the first is my favorite:
1. Jon_Dahl's Brazilian fetish.
2. The Than's "RIP Cassius Clay" thread.
3. Bartmanhomer's "I got Peyton Manning Autograph" thread.
4. I suppose, generally, reading Bartmanhomer's blog all last year was fun.
5. The "Are we Evil" thread was neat. A good introduction to GitP.

You list me on number three and four?! Sweet! Thanks man!
