Wand usage question?

Hi all.

I have a quick question let say im a cleric 1/fighter X and i have the magic domain.

1.Can i use a wand of scorching ray?

2. Can i use an up to lvl 4 cleric spell in wand even if im lvl 1 cleric?

I dont have access to my book atm so i cant check. Cause atm im having an arguement with a friend about that.

1) Yes. You count as a 1st level wizard for the purpose of spell trigger items, and wands are spell trigger items.

2) Maybe. To activate a scroll containing a 4th-level cleric spell, you'd have to both have a Wisdom score of at least 14 and make a caster level check against a DC of the scroll's caster level +1. If you succeed, the scroll activates; if you fail, you might suffer a mishap. More details can be found here (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicItems/scrolls.htm).

As for question it was for if i have a wand with a cleric 4th lvl spell in it can i use it. Even if im lvl 1 cleric. Also it also good to know for thr scroll tnx:)

Yes. You only need a single level of a class to be able to use all wands of spells on that class's spell list, regardless of spell level.

Why exactly are you mentioning scrolls when the question was clearly about wands?

I think because I forgot that 4th-level wands are a thing.
