I'm making a campaign that will include the The Goblin Pits of Io-Rach from the BoVD. Knowing my PCs they will do something stupid with themselves or their companions upon finding the pits and learning what they do, or in an attempt to learn what they do, or just for laughs. I have tried to think of different ways for the pits to affect non-goblins but so far I haven't really thought up anything good. If anyone would be willing to come up with a chart or some templates or something for it, I would greatly appreciate it.

Go with the Warp Flesh table in the Disease section. Adjust to taste.

The 25% chance chance that goblins have to die a gruesome, horrible, screaming death should probably be increased to 50% for non-goblins. The ones that survive should meet a worse fate. I'm thinking something along the lines of the yuan-ti broodguards.
