What's that spell?

The one that gives you a bonus to knowing what spell is being cast, immediately lets you know a spell is being cast, and then lets you take an immediate action to counterspell it? I found Duelward in Complete Arcane (and spell compendium). But I'm not sure it is exactly what I remember reading before. I can't seem to find anything else that does that. I just remember different flavor text.

The Ring of Spell Battle in the MIC my also be of interest to you. It does something similar, but the "counterspell" doesn't require any check and instead lets you pick a new target for the spell.

Both these effects are actually amazing. Even stilled, silent spells or psionic powers can be identified by them, which makes magical subterfuge against you much harder.
