Saand'Ra walks out of Trogs. On his way out he sees a hundred or so rebel officers arrive on the scene. He decides to hang out and see what happens.

((Indeed. Now we just need something to happen in them. :p))

Therarde begins wandering around, pondering life and whatnot.

He notices the rebel officers and starts watching.

[Admiral_Kelly]

Saand'Ra walks over to Therarde.

"Hey, chap, what's up?"

[Therarde]

Therarde raises an eyebrow. Do I know you...? The eagle on his shoulder tenses.

[Admiral_Kelly]

"I doubt it but I need someone to talk to. Do you know a place where I can get a job? I'm currently short on change- as in I got nothing."

[Therarde]

Therarde shrugs. Can't say I do. Sorry about being so distrusting, it's just that everyone I've met in the past two days has either tried to kill me, disappeared, or spilled my drink. He speaks the last one especially coldly.

[Admiral_Kelly]

"I hear that happens often. I blame the amount of alcohol people drink; I don't care for drinking myself."

[Therarde]

Therarde shrugs. I do. Usually doesn't seem to have much of an effect on me. So, any clue what's going on over there? He gestures over to the vast amount of rebel officers outside Trog's.

[Admiral_Kelly]

The rebel officers start running into the tavern led by Rivo.

"There was a bit of a commotion in there. Alot of gun firing on one side and alot of dieing on the other."

[Therarde]

He shrugs. Huh. Glad I got out of there then. Besides, I keep hearing about these "gun" things. Any idea what those are?

[Admiral_Kelly]

"Wands used by mortals to kill eachother. That's one definition I heard."

Several rebels walk out of the tavern carrying the dead with them on stretchers.

[Therarde]

I see. When you say "mortals", you imply that you aren't one yourself.

[Admiral_Kelly]

"Oh no, I am realistic of my place in life. That's what I remember from one pompous jackass wizard. It was a term he used for anyone who wasn't a spellcaster."

[Therarde]

So all spellcasters are suddenly immortal? Huh. The eagle on his shoulder gives what could conceivably be a shrug.

[Admiral_Kelly]

"I didn't add the words 'pompous jackass' for nothing. Funny thing is I was the one who killed him." Suddenly he starts sputtering and fluids come out from what is presumably his mouth. "Good grief... has it really been a year?" he sputters some more and falls to the ground.

[Therarde]

Therarde kneels down. You alright?

[Pwenet]

Zabus snaps out of deadtime and wanders into Trogs.

[Admiral_Kelly]

Saand'Ra pushes up against the ground and four orange tentacles appear from underneath the hood of his robes. He starts producing fluid from his mouth as though he is vomiting.

[Therarde]

Therarde looks at the strange happenings. I'll take that as a "no". He attempts a Cure Light Wounds spell, to see if it will do any good.

[Admiral_Kelly]

It has no effect. "No... this is natural for me." he the proceeds to seemingly vomit some more. He retracts his tentacles and at the same time kneels up. He starts collecting the fluid and puts it into a jar from his robes. His hands are tentacle like and only have three 'fingers'.

[Therarde]

Therarde takes a few steps back. I...see. He begins watching, wondering just what is going on.

[Admiral_Kelly]

He continues to scoop up as much of the fluid as he possibly can and put it in the jar. If you look closely, you can see several tadpole like creatures swimming around inside.

The man looks at it "The miracle of life. What a precious thing..." he seems to be speaking with awe.

[Therarde]

Therarde is just plain confused at this point and, although he is really curious, manages to restrain himself from asking.

[Admiral_Kelly]

He turns to Therarde "I'm sorry, you must be terribly confused if not alarmed. You see, my species is actually a cousin of the illithid or mind flayer and let's keep that a secret. Every once a year I spawn larvae for my species to populate. You just witnessed me doing that."

[Therarde]

...So you're saying you just gave birth?

[Admiral_Kelly]

"Err... Well, I wouldn't call it that... 'Birth' implies sexual reproduction, which is just plain gross."

[Therarde]

I see. But that is essentially what it is, right. Although it is perfectly natural for you, to me it was a bit...interesting, to say the least.

[Admiral_Kelly]

"I thought as much- but I'm not trying to shove that mental image in your face as I cannot stop once it comes over me. Though this should be the last spawn until next year."

[Therarde]

Well, I've seen stranger things. He promptly is sniped by deadtime.

Saand'Ra wanders off taking his jar of larva with him.

Therarde recovers from deadtime and heads into Trog's.

Maia enters the streets with a smile, her staff in hand. She looks around for a bit, trying to decide on a destination.

[Therarde]

Therarde walks out of Trog's, and begins aimlessly wandering.

Maia sees Therarde and waves cheerfully.

Therarde hears Maia and nods in her general direction. Hello.

Maia starts as the man tries to trip her up, and hops back a pace.

That staff looks heavy. Maybe I can Carry it for you?

She smiles politely at him, already forgiving the strange man for his random trip attempt.
Maia turns her smile to Therarde.
It's because I just showed up! I'm Maia.
She holds out a hand to him.

Maia looks startled.

She backs up slightly.

[Therarde]

Therarde sighs and draws his sword. Senseless violence is overrated. And I'm pretty sure that sword beats knife.

Huston steps out behind her. He has an arrow pointed at her. Simon Mcteda walks out and up to Therad

This is a robbery. says Huston

[Therarde]

Robbery? Well. He gives a shrill whistle. Shortly after, an eagle swoops down at Huston and claws at his eyes.

[Metis]

Maia bites her lip, turns her staff parallel to the ground, and hops on it, where it remains floating.
Can't we just get along?

[Nightwing]

((Huston wears goggles. they help him aim. They are very hard to destroy.))

Hey! your that KNIVES bird! I still have not gotten to eat you!

[Therarde]

The eagle stops attacking his face and instead moves to his hands, trying to make him drop his weapon.

[Nightwing]

*he tries to stab it with an arrow*

[Therarde]

The bird claws at the hand holding the arrow, narrowly escaping being on the receiving end. Therarde says to Maia, You may want to consider getting out of here.

[Nightwing]

*Huston ducks and fires three arrows at Therarded and Paul throws three daggers.

[Metis]

OOC: Sorry! Had to go get lunch.

Maia flies off on her staff like a witch on a broom, eventually landing and going into Trog's.

[Therarde]

((Yeah, I just had to get lunch too))

Therarde, who had been watching Paul, manages to dodge the knives, although he is grazed by a few of the arrows. He charges at Paul. The eagle attempts to sever the bowstring.

[Nightwing]

*Huston pulls the bow away. ten he uses it like a club and swings it at the the bird. Simon walks in front of Threade and swings his sword at him*

[Therarde]

Therarde parries the blow, and realizes he's outnumbered. He begins running hoping that he'll be followed.

[Nightwing]

*They dont fallow. They decide not to bother. They all leave*

[Therarde]

Therarde ducks into an alleyway, looks back, sees them leaving, shrugs, and heads over to Trog's once they're all gone. The eagle lands on his shoulder and he goes inside.

[Mr. Moon]

Crescant comes out of dead time, and looks down at her hand. She sighs, and looks around for a temple as the blood flows down her arm.

[Draken]

Draken snaps out of deadtime, his scythe becomes a metalic staff and he walks back into Trog's.

((Contingency. That protection from AMEN set it off, which impaled crescents hand again.))

[Mr. Moon]

A sword should suddenly appear in crescents non-multilated hand, and uses 6 spikes to lock the hand in place.

Crescant gives a cry of pain as the iron hocks peirce her hand. She glares at it through slitted eyelids, muttering darkly in Undercommen. "I swear, I will find that bastard and kill him." She mutters.

[Khaldan]

((Its was the 36 hours of protection. Blame him for that.))

[Mr. Moon]

((Yeah, yeah. Crescant doesn't know that, now does she?))

Grunting, Crescant, trudged back to the AMEN base. Perhaps that cyborg guy who's apparently the leader of AMEN could do something about it.

Kertath is flying around when he suddenly feels a strange pain, one that comes to him when he hasn't devoured any souls

what the? i thought i was... cured of my needs for souls...

The pain intensifies and he loses control of his wings and crashes to the ground

Therarde, apparently not having found what he was looking for, heads back into Trog's.

Maia zips into the streets, sitting sideways on her staff as she flies around on it.

*Truck walks out of Trogs and climes up onto Maias Staff*

Maia sighs as she passes Trog's, then stops, rights her staff, and vanishes.

Khelan walks outside, and sees Truck basically attack someone, so he aims an arrow at truck, and fires.

A ship belonging to the Blackout Raiders lands, and then lifts off after dropping off Moose. He actually looks pretty cheerful, and walks into Trog's.

Damn, ships going into places, crazy tentacles attack whenever you use the q-word, whatever that is...
He walks into trogs.

[Khaldan]

Khaldan appears, and sees the abishai.
Crap., not on my first downtime too..
He pulls out his sword, ready for the abishai to attack.

Therarde walks out of Trog's, looking slightly sleepy. He looks around, whistles, and sits by the door.

[Narmoth]

The shadow abishai looks at him:
So, anything you want with that puny little thing of yours, dirtdweller?

[Khaldan]

One of your kind tried to kill me yesterday. Its called being cautious.

[Narmoth]

Ah, I see. But that's just because your kind is so tasty. And juicy rolls with his eyes and jummy

Yeah, one tried to eat me. it lost its stomach. What are you doing with those poster?

Well, I was going to hang them up on the orders of Ted, but I then got orders to destroy them. So well, I was consider either eating them or stuffing them down some creatures throat and make them choke on them.

May i suggest the Leaders of AMEN as a target?

Therarde walks out of Trog's. He looks around to see what's going on.

A fireball goes straight towards Kelanar.

Khaldan might sense a shortsword approaching his back at an alarming speed.
As you understand, that's just an illusion. I was going to stab your back if you decided to start early.

As you might also understand, so was that. Shapechange.
Khaldan proceeds to shapechange into a collosal silver dragon.

Therarde notices the duel.

He fires an enchanted crossbow bolt a Khaldans heart.

He is hit by the crossbow bolt, but it doesnt go in far enough to get to his heart. He then uses his breath weapon on Kelanar.

One hundred rebels appear on the scene of the zombie raid. One-quarter of the rebels are clerics and they are led by Rivo.

Rivo shouts "This is the police! Surrender now or we will open fire and attack!"

Dalas charges Rivo, 1 sword at the head 1 at the gut

[Narmoth]

Guess you have a point there. It's a nice spell, but I can't see how you meant that this is the fair way to conduct a duel
He casts the spell true sight.
The breath weapon covers him in ice, shattering his skin and freezing him to the ground. He starts to bleed.

Never had the chance to deal with a Duel like this. And i expected a backstab.
He swings a claw at Kelanar.

Rivo and two other swordmen block the attack. "Idiot, you only get one chance. Clerics! Dispel and turn the undead!" The rebel clerics start dispelling and turning as many undead creatures as possible.

[Therarde]

Therarde wonders why someone is fighting a Silver Dragon in the middle of the street. He sits down to watch.

Kelanar is thrown away and disappears.

Gin appears, and begins turning undead, flanked by Serene and Leilani, who are casting Fireballs at the undead via wands.

Nice, illusions. Time stop.
He shifts back to halfling, and starts casting delayed blast fireballs at every 3rd illusion. He then goes back to where he was before, and shifts into a colassal Gold dragon.
((The delayed blast fireballs should all go off as soon aas you post.))

(( Ninjacow, where are these undead coming from? Also you should Capitalizes names and the first letter of each sentence. ))

Rivo block the attacks against him but the officers next to him are not so lucky. Several pistols, revolvers, rifles, and other firearms are drawn and pointed at Dalas and fire, some of which at point-blank range.

The other rebels keep fighting back against the undead hoard.

[Therarde]

Therarde sees the undead horde and decides it might be best to head inside Trog's. Which he does.

the shot's blow Dalas 's body to peices but he reforms and continues the attack

an enormous Pyramid rises up outside of the town a dark clothed man stands there summoning the undead!

(Check your Pm's!)

[Narmoth]

All the illusions continue firing their crossbows just as if nothing happened. They are not affected by the fireballs.
(OOC: he is affected by timestop, so he can't modify his illusions. Also, can you do so many actions in a round? I gather that one post equals a round, and if my PC resisted the time stop, he would be able to do things before Khaldan changed back into dragon)

The shadow abishai jums at the dragons spine and casts 2 bolts of energy, one light and one dark twisted together, at the dragon (2d6x12 dmg, positive energy res. or negative energy res. gives half dmg of, res. to both gives no dmg)

[gnomas]

gnomas walks over to the shadow fiend keep and enters.

[Admiral_Kelly]

Several rebels are scarred of the pyramid and the strange figure. "Holy crap! Let's get out of here!" at least a third of them run away in terror. Rivo shouts "Stand your ground! Keep fighting back! Aim for the dark clothed man!" the remaining rebels fight on.

Rivo continues fighting back against Dalas.

[Khaldan]

Khaldan stops caring about the illusions, seeing as they cant hurt him. He starts looking for the real kalantar, and Breaths fire on anything that hurts him.

Dalas strikes at Rivo in a flurry, 3 high,2 low and 1 medium.

A field of black energy shelds the figure

50 mummies rise in the path of the retreaters, blocking their path, with spears,and pikes set up to stop a charge

[Admiral_Kelly]

Rivo block or doges most of the attacks but is hit in the torso by the last one. He is bleeding, but the wound is not fatal.

Several of the soldiers trying to retreat are skewered by the mummies. Those who survive run back although a few stumble and fall.

[Narmoth]

Khaldan stops caring about the illusions, seeing as they cant hurt him. He starts looking for the real kalantar, and Breaths fire on anything that hurts him.

(OOC: So, what happens to the abishai? Has your character dmg reduction or something, or did I just receive a bad dmg roll?
Also, it might be no ST for the time stop, but I believe you can still resist it with magic resistance)

Khaldan then sees that the abishai is a problem, and breaths fire on it.

Dalas pulls the dagger back for a stab...

I guess you breath fire on yourself then, as he lands on the dragon, and bites his juicy neck with his long fangs and attacks him with his claws.
(OOC: I hope I'm not falling into godmodding here. I think it might be a bit on the edge, and I'm trying to run the one evil organization that is not godmodding. Just tell me if I am, and I'll edit)

The fallen are killed by the mummies.

Horrified, Rivo, still holding his weapon, slashes his sword at Dalas's chest.

[Khaldan]

He is perfectly fine with that, considering that he is immune to fire.

a bright almost blinding light flashes and blinds everyone for a second when all can see again, the undead are gone and the pyramid with the figure too.

Dalas's robes fall off a little, revealing a large ruby with a cut, down the middle

MY POWER!!...

black souls fly out of Dalas's ruby, he then flashes showing human feature's
for a minute then the ruby shatters and another blast of light then a human
with Dalas's sword's stand's over Rivo
I'm sorry, but who are you?

The chaos stops. The rebels reorganize, collecting they're dead and the clerics heal their wounds.

Rivo is wondering the same thing. "I'm just as confused as you are, but I'm going to have to hold you under arrest for the time being until we figure out exactly what happened here. I'm sorry if you had nothing to do with it, but you did just appear in the middle of an undead raid which is very suspicious."

[fatninjacow]

(he's dalas, a necromancer cursed him, when you destroyed the gem it destroyed the curse!)

I have no objection's, but who are you and where am I !?!

Dalas put's out his hands wrist's open

[Admiral_Kelly]

(( Rivo dose not know this yet as the information is out of context. ))

"Rivo Foresight; head of the DELTA rebels in this place known as 'Town'." he goes to put the handcuffs on him, but a cleric runs over telling him to stop.

"Since when do you tell me what to do?"

"Sorry, boss, but he's innocent. See, I saw what happened and the other clerics helped me confirm that this man was under some sort of curse. When you destroyed that artifact the curse was lifted and it restored his humanity."

"Alright then, I guess you are free to go. Just stay away from any necromancers so this won't happen again."

[Narmoth]

Breathing fire on the shadow abishai Khaldan has his head turned, and cant smell the invisible Kelanar who sneaks up on him

[Khaldan]

He may not be able to smell, but he really doesnt care.
Screw this. Dim door.
He now is around 50 feet away from the abishai, taking up the whole street with his wings.
Bring it.

[Narmoth]

Lightning bolt
A maximized lightning bolt fills the whole street. The abishai flies after the dragon

I mean, they are civilized. It's the other part I doubt. I think it's the fact taht almost all here can be raised from death. It makes death unreal. Make them feel invincible. And if you are invincible, no one can judge you, at least not in the way that you can be punished. So they feel that they have tha ability, and therefore the right to do anything. To themselves and to others. Therefore they fight... To death... For the most trivial things.
