I've heard there are very good wizard only spells out there but haven't been able to find them. I've done a bit of googling but can't find any.

Does anyone out there have a list or know of any good wizard only spells?

Mordenkianen's Lubrication is one

Mnemonic enchancer, mordenkainan's lucubration (pretty sure it's a typo but that's the SRD), rary's arcane conversion and spell engine. All very powerful effects.

Lucubration is a key element in the clockwork wizard below. (This is far to powerful than any game can handle so you would need a less powerful method to actually use it...)

It actually isn't a typo:

lu·cu·bra·tion

/ˌlo͞ok(y)əˈbrāSHən/

noun
formal

noun: lucubration

study; meditation.
"after sixteen years' lucubration he produced this account"

•a piece of writing, typically a pedantic or overelaborate one.
plural noun: lucubrations

Huh, and here I thought good old Mordecai was just a horny old man like most pre-generated wizards. Looking at YOU elly boy.

Mordenkainen's Lubrication is how he loosens his tongue for that lengthy lucubration. He keeps it in a flask in his Robe of the Archmage. Let him drink enough of it, and he'll go on for hours about his spell selection techniques.

He's one of the few canon wizards who I'd actually listen to go on about spell selection techniques, as most of the spells he came up with are actually quite good.
