Well, I was watching E3 on TV...lemme tell ya...I wish I could've been there. The ABSOLUTE-FREAKIN'-LUTELY BIGGEST NERDFEST IN EXISTANCE...and I couldn't join in the fun. :smallfrown: Come, fellow geeks! Wallow in self-pity as you share your tails of woe because you couldn't go to E3! Or, y'know, just generally chat about how awesome the stuff they showed on TV is.

As cool as that would be, I'm not sure I can take the Nerdstink...

Ah, it'll pass. You go, you see everything, you completely and utterly get lost in the awesomeness of E3, and you won't even notice the stench. Before ya know it, you'll be outta there, after completing the greatest and most precious moments of your life.

I know. :smallfrown: The day they said that it would be 'more exclusive' was the day I died a little inside. I really live for this kinda stuff, y'know.

First of all, you need to be invited. Next, you have pay 800$. No thanks, I'll just use the internet.

Still, it would all be worth it! Come on! E3! E3! If you could somehow fake an invite and pay 800$, it would all be so worth it!

I dare say I'd rather hang myself than have E3 be the greatest and most precious moment of my life.

*Cough cough* (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50343)

It's gaming news man, which means I was all over like a Cat-Muffin in mating season.
Wait...

Ok, one, that was meant as a joke. Seriously, though, it'd be awesome.

Two...oh. Didn't see that.

My uncle works as an accountent for Eidos and got tickets for E3. Of course, he had no clue what the hell they were and BINNED them. Man, I almost cried when I heard that.

I like E3, but I'm more of a comic-con nerdfester.
Nerd-stink...we just call it the Stench of Nergle...or call them a Nergling. Best way to combat it is by not staying in one area too long...and not browsing the red-light district in comic-con for too long.

E3 prior to this year was a frakking zoo. It really had become too big to really be useful; most big publishers had a display, but the real stuff was shown by invite only in smaller hotel rooms. When my former company went, all of the business was done via these smaller meetings.

It's always been my dream to attend E3, whether its toned down or not. But until I perfect my skills of breaking into places undetected, watching coverage on TV will have to suffice.

Eh. Ever since I realized that E3 was probably more an industry expo than a 'real' convention, I lost most of my desire to ever go there.

Yeah... it is E3. It's been a dream of mine.

I'll just have to read about it on the internet.
