Hello everyone !
I'm building a dex jedi, focusing on lightsaber combat, and after building it for a human, I wonder if it might be better to go nagai instead. I'm starting at 1st lvl, and this build already has the problem of being kinda lame in the first few levels, really becoming great at lvl 8, so losing a starting feat might be a big deal... anyway, here goes the build, I would like you to please tell me if being Nagai can be a better option, and if so, how ? And if you see room for improvement even for humans don't hesitate to tell me.

Build to lvl 12
28 points buy

Human :
Str 8
Dex 16 (improved every 4 lvls)
Con 12
Int 10
Cha 14
Wis 14 (improved every 4 lvls)

Levels 1-7 Jedi, 8-12 Jedi Knight

Feats :
1 Jedi 1 : force training, finesse ls
2 Jedi 2 : skill focus utf
3 Jedi 3 : force training
4 Jedi 4 : weapon focus
6 Jedi 6 : force training, powerful charge
9 Jedi Knight 2 : force training
12 Jedi Knight 5 : force training

Talents:
1 Jedi 1 : deflect
3 Jedi 3 : block
5 Jedi 5 : weapon spec
7 Jedi 7 : elusive target/redirect
8 Jedi Knight 1 : Ataru
10 Jedi Knight 3 : Soresu
12 Jedi Knight 5 : Juyo

Techniques :
9 Jedi Knight 2 : FP recovery
11 Jedi Knight 4 : improved battlestrike

Force powers :
1 : Battlestrike, mind trick, negate energy, battlestrike (with the 8lvl increase)
3 : fluid riposte, move object, saber swarm, force shield
6: battlestrike, disarming slash, rebuke, fluid riposte
9 : battlestrike, saber swarm, saber swarm, deflecting slash
12 : fluid riposte, pass the blade, mind trick, force shield

Skills :
Use the force, Acrobatics, Initiative

What I was thinking was taking finesse at 2 instead of one, removing weapon focus and taking skill focus at 4 instead, and then changing weapon spec, and later juyo, for something else, but don't know yet what and don't know if it's viable.

Anyway, thanks a lot in advance !

Remember that you get all your Force Powers back at the end of every encounter. Very, very few encounters will last long enough for you to use ten Force Powers, never mind twenty. So you can definitely afford to both swap out one or more Force Trainings and boost CHA instead of WIS (giving you better results from the powers you do take) as you level. For a saber specialist, you probably want a power selection that's heavily weighted toward Lightsaber Form powers. And you could get by with about three fewer instances of Battle Strike with Combat Trance, a JK Talent in JATM (probably replacing Soresu).

You're right, hadn't thought about that. However, this comes late, and with only one battlestrike by encounter until lvl 10 I will have a hard time. Maybe I could see with my GM if he allows retraining, which could be a great option then. And if only onse battlestrike is needed, it's true that I may not need a wis increase.

You currently only have one instance of Battle Strike from 1 to 6; tough that out for a couple more levels and you can get to a place where that's all you need.

Juyo is really pretty cool, and worth keeping around. If you need a Feat because of switching races, I'd say sacrificing a Force Training is the way to go - probably the Level 3 one, and shift things around to get Powerful Charge online earlier.
