Do items leave the Cafe Press store?

My girlfriend broke my "Evil: A growth industry" coffee cup yesterday and she ordered me a new one. But I also had the Psionics cup, and noticed that design isn't listed any more.

Do items get taken off the store? I thought it was just print-on-demand so there was no overhead involved.
