DR and Rend

Example wizard with stone skin and troll hits with rend attack. Does the DR 10 stone skin stop.

DR applies to physical damage so each individual attack is affected. Rend talks about "this attack" so it seems like a seperate source of damage but I could see a fairly good argument from fluff that it would count as part of one of the claw attacks.

I would apply DR if I was GM because it feels like it would more balanced that way

Steven is correct, DR applies seperately to an instance of Rend as if it were another attack.
