The musical of the year (according to an arbitrary award show), La La Land has been getting significant praise from critics. I saw it over the weekend, and found myself reasonably impressed. The songs were good, though not quite of the 'get stuck in your head and loop forever' variety, and the choreography was also nice. I was a bit surprised by how the opening sequence went, but I suppose that's a good thing.

Anybody have any opinions on it?
