I've been attempting to compile materials from the dnd archive because nothing on the internet owned by a corporation is guaranteed to last in perpetuity. And I've discovered that I cannot access materials that have been published later than 2007. And even half of the materials therein published in 2007 are not available if it was published in the latter half of the year.

Did anyone perhaps build a mirror or make snapshots?

Looks like 9/6/2007 is where it cuts off; anything 9/7/07 and after is getting an error.

I really wish I could say that someone else on the internet already made a copy of all the content of WotC's archives and put it in a nice online folder, but I only remember this because I saw it once in Rubik's signature which has apparently been deleted. I did not save the folder at the time for personal use, therefore I have no access to it. Maybe someone else does?

In case such a thing is found and linked, I think it wouldn't actually be a bad idea to stick a thread like "List of articles from WotC's archives" in the 3e/3.5e/d20 subforum so that it isn't lost again.

Oh, there's one from 9/24: here (http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ebxe/20070924a).

The Wayback Machine should have everything, or almost everything, archived.

It is linked in the index of 3.X WotC threads (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?444041-Threads-from-the-Wizards-forums), along with a few other mirrors of all the content.

Edit: The reason things from after 2007 aren't available is probably because that's when WotC started their online Dragon+ magazine, in which they published things rather than Paizo. They also wanted everyone to pay for their DDI subscription.

Subscribed! That's a wonderful thread and I had completely forgotten it existed. Thank you for the link!

Welcome. Feel free to contribute additional links if you've got the Wayback Machine URL for anything not already saved there; I do still update it.
