View Full Version : E6 Setting up a wizard workshop

My group is playing a gestalt E6(with some possibility of going beyond 6 eventually) game and I know that in the future we're going to have the option of setting up a stronghold. We're using the Spheres of Power magic variant and making it work with 3.5 for everything else. My DM has allowed effects that boost caster level beyond 6th and a good amount of room for mechanics from 3.5 to effect SoP casting. For example, one thing I'm considering is using the Weather sphere with a permanency ritual to make a room that always contains a blizzard and combining it with the snowcasting line of feats. The two things I'd like help with are:
1) Coming up with ways for a workshop to actually be useful in the SoP system. The only uses I can think of so far are getting slightly better bonuses from divinations and using it to summon up a stronger companion at the start of the day but that only really helps for adventures that don't take us too far from home.
2) Coming up with other things to add to such a workshop.
Oh, and if it's relevant for anything I'm playing an Incanter/Warblade.
