Ascension Campaign DFA//Something (10th Level Gestalt)

I want to make someone aiming to be the god of all dragons. One side of Gestalt will be DFA, the other side I'm THINKING will be a magic user-maybe Cleric or Wizard?

I think in order to become a god, you're better off going with Wizard in just about all cases. As a Cleric, if your deity isn't on board, you're not going to have a good time.
