I haven't been part of a campaign that's run anywhere close to completion for years, due to a perpetual case of dueling schedules. So I'm considering PFS, but I'm curious how interesting the scenarios are. Are they just a big pile of combats for the most part? Or is there some clever design in a good amount of the scenarios? Are there particular kinds of characters that are better or worse in PFS than in a normal campaign?

Nobody? Is PFS that bad?

So far I have been in only one pathfinder society scenario, and it was 90% combats 10% out of combat I hesitate to call it investigation, but investigation/exploration. Vast majority was one combat after another with a little bit of asking some questions and making a few decisions and being directed to our next objective, which was a lead in to another combat.

I haven't the foggiest but you might try asking over on the paizo boards.
