I think he has fire resistance or immunity because of panel 6 on page 476 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0476.html). He was clearly able to consume it despite it's "piping hot" nature.

he also has sonic yell attacks and a constitution from hell.

Any good stew takes at least an hour or two to cook and I can't see a gourmet chef like Belkar skimping on anything just because he's trying to avoid being killed. Given that he only had ten minutes of actual cooking time, I doubt that pot had even reached boiling yet.

I can't see *snip* Belkar skimping on anything
You're kidding, right?

We could estimate he suffers from diabetes and thats why he needs the fat free scones.

Well Belkar, as a Halfling, would not skimp on food or cooking. That seems to be one racial trait he has kept.

Ok, so what kinds of monsters can cause Earthquakes? The main #477 comic thread has gone all wonky with the alignment ("Belkar is Evil, get over it") and shot-in-the-nuts vs. airspeed-of-an-unladen-swallow stuff. The real question here is what is the MiTD? Anyone?

I am convinced the MitD is:

Minya, son of Godzilla.

He fits the descripion so far, and is just obscure enough, but related to a well known monter enough, to fit the bill.

A homebrewed, or totally unexpected creature. Like a norg. or a half allip-half fire elemental.

or a half water elemental-half fire elemental.
