Protecting magic items from Otiluke's suppressing field

So usually since magic items have low CL then they are quite vulnerable to the spell Otiluke's Suppressing field, how can you protect them from the effect of it. No dispelling as this is a spell the current party caster will be using and he is already using Extraordinary spell aim on himself. How can someone else protect from that other than staying out of the area in case it is not a viable option?
