Need Help Building a Npc for My 3.5 Game

So I will be in a D&D Game were Each week The Torch of Dming will passed Around the Table
and I want to Get some Npc going so i'm Ahead when My Turns Comes

We agreed to use the following Book

PH1, PH2 DMG1 DMG2 MM1 CA CW LM GW And stormwrack

I want to Create Npc of classes I might never use as a PC

and the first one I Have in mind is the Horizon Walker: Sadly I am not sure what class I should be to get in two the class
and what would Be a good Lv12 Build For a Mid-power Game

Looking at other threads, it seems Expert 6/Horizon Walker 6 is going rampant at this time of the year.

Jokes aside, every time I see unusual PrCs mentioned my first urge is to go check the class and then see if there have already been an Iron Chef competition about it. Unfortunately in this case there's none, but I did find this (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?80415-The-Horizon-Tripper-(Core-Melee-Build)). Pretty straightforward, core-only and will get you to have fun with at-will Dimension Door (which is not that common).
