Our DM lets me play a grell. This is Al Awasoruk:

We play loose with monster rules, using CR in place of level. Al is a Lawful Good Grell 3/Spirit Shaman 1/Fortune's Friend 5/Topaz Guardian 5 now. He has hit the cap on both of the prestige classes I had planned to take for him and I refuse to do something as simple and efficient as going back to the base class for the rest of his levels.
He doesn't have enough classes yet.
We are looking for a third prestige class that will continue to advance his divine spellcasting and stretch that single level of Spirit Shaman even further, efficiency optional. The fewer levels in the class the better, so that we can actually finish it before level 20. Gish and skill blends preferred over straight caster classes. Doesn't need to be divine specific- Fortune's Friend just says caster level -but paladin flavour is a plus. As you might have guessed we play fast and loose with some rules so certain setting prerequisites can be stretched.
