Ok, so the 4 Alignment Domains have a special effect where you cast a spell of the appropriate Alignment at a +1 Caster level, which works clearly for the most part.
Their Capstone powers are Summon Monster IX, and as per the spell description when you use the spell to summon a creature of the appropriate alignment, the Summon Monster spells are that alignment.
So, essentially my question is would using SM9 to summon a (say) Good creature for a Good Domain Cleric, be the equivalent of SM10 (allowing to to summon 1d3 SM9s)? Or would it have no mechanical effect, as SM spells are generally unaffected by CL?
Cheers for any help,
Sam
