Ok how does one infect another character with lycanthropy through arcane magic? The only Curse of Lycanthropy spell is a cleric domain with Pestilence domain.

So that means the caster needs Greater Bestow Curse or maybe a Wish? Because unless there is a spell specific for cursing someone with the were-curse or maybe developing a spell for it?

The feat Arcane Disciple (CD) set to the Pestilence domain would give any arcane caster of sufficient level the ability cast the spell Curse of Lycanthropy.

That said, curse of lycanthropy was updated in spell compendium to simply kill the target and cause a bunch of wererats to burst forth from their body, not actually turning the target of the spell into a lycanthrope at all.
