Sorry if these questions have been answered but I was looking at the 14th ability "Master of Magic" in the Lore Master Wizard Tradition.
1.) Does it only allow you to use spells that only take one action to cast?
2.) Does it also require material components?

1) I'd say it definitely doesn't allow you to cast spells that require a bonus action to cast, though that seems more like an oversight than a deliberate use. Spells requiring longer than 1 action to cast will likely be up to your DM. Seems like it should be okay, so long as you don't lose concentration during the casting.

2) You certainly would. The feature just grants you the ability to cast the spell, you still need to follow the general casting rules. If the spell doesn't require expensive material components, your arcane focus/component pouch would work fine for it.
