So lets assume someone has some CHA-based epic caster build at hand and wants to fit Marshall 1 (Marshall 3 would obviously fix the issue at hand, but would result in silly multiclass exp penalties and eat up in other stuff, anyway) in there ... what would be the best point to fit in Marshall? PreEpic? At Epic levels? And what minor Aura to pick? The Dexterity aura seems like it's obviously the best, but the Int-based & CHA-based ones would be quite helpful in plenty of cases, too ...

I've been pondering about it for a while and didn't reach any conclusion about that.

What do the playgrounders think about this issue?

Thanks in advance.

You don't really want to skip out on Epic bonus feats. If you want a bunch of bang for your buck out of Charisma at Epic, you may want to Shapechange into a Gloura (Underdark) or Nymph (Core). Charisma to AC and saves, plus either Flight or Swim (respectively), and DR 10/Cold Iron. Both are essentially humanoid in shape, so you keep all your equipment.

Don't lose a level of spellcasting. So get to level 20 of your main spellcasting class before you dip Marshall.

Motivate dexterity is indeed awesome; everyone in your party goes first.

But if you have a few casters in your party, and often meet enemies with high SR (which probably happens a lot at epic levels), the determined caster aura that adds your CHA bonus to your and allies' rolls to overcome spell resistance can also be very handy.
