What's the ruling on the Contemplative PrC's extra domain class feature for non-clerics? Nothing in the class says you need access to domains to become a contemplative, but if you get the domain, you get to add the spells to your domain spells. But you don't HAVE domain spells. How is this resolved? Do you not get the spells? Do they get added to the list of your spells known? Or do you suddenly get domain casting?

Depends on the class. The pertinent information is on page 20 of complete divine.

Page 20 of Complete Divine lays out how prestige classes that grant domains work for non-clerics. In summary:
-Everyone gets the domain's granted power.
-Prepared casters who can memorize any spell on their class list (druid, paladin, ranger) can choose to prepare a domain spell in place of one their regular spells. They can only prepare 1 such spell per spell level. They do not get a bonus spell slot for domain spells like clerics do.
-Casters who use spellbooks (wizards, archivists) have to scribe domain spells they have access into their spellbook as they would any other spell. They can then prepare up to 1 domain spell per spell level. Again, no bonus spell slot.
-Spontaneous casters (sorcerer, favored soul, bard, etc) can choose from their domain spells as well as the usual list when picking spells known. Once they know a domain spell, they can cast it freely, no special use limit like the others. Still no bonus spell slot or spells known.
-Spontaneous casters who can cast anything from their class's spell list at any time (beguiler, dread necromancer) just treat their domain spells as if they were on the class list.
