Diablo 3-esque EP Monk

Hey guys! I'm sort of new to D&D and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about building a EP style monk for 3.5

I haven't played the game but I took a look at the wiki and I think Swordsage would do the trick pretty well.

I haven't either, but if it doesn't use weapons, take the Unarmed Swordsage variant and the Snap Kick feat.
