Hello,
was currently checking the bone rider spell selection.

http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/Bone_Rider_(3.5e_Prestige_Class)

The class seems to reach a maximum of 5 levels.

Anyway, it has this feature:

Spellcasting: Every level of Bone Rider counts as two levels of Blackguard for the purposes of spells per day and available spells. A Bone Rider's caster level for these Blackguard spells is her character level.

Which spells should I go for?

Should I ask my dm to trade the spellcasting for anything else, if I'm planning to make a mounted barbarian?

Use danddwiki with high amounts of caution. Its chock full of homebrew, which is exactly what bone rider is :p so unless your dm approves homebrew i wouldnt rely on having this in your build

damn, I didn't know it was homebrew. I read 'tome of necromancy', searched about it on google but could not find anything, I thought I was just unable to find it, now I discover it is homebrew stuff. That's sad.

For future reference, pretty much the only thing on the wiki that isn't homebrew are the pages with "SRD" in the title, which are direct copies from, you guessed it, the SRD (http://www.d20srd.org/index.htm).

I've heard that a site called dndtools.net has the feats, spells, (prestige) classes, etc. from pretty much every official 3.0 and 3.5 source in it. Dunno if it's legal, though- even if it is, I recommend buying the books that contain any materials that you're using before using them in a game.
