So the discipline weapons for each school of martial arts in ToB are:

Desert Wind: Scimitar, light mace, light pick, spear, falchion

Devoted Spirit: Falchion, greatclub, maul*, longsword

Diamond Mind: Rapier, shortspear, trident, bastard sword (katana)

Iron Heart: Bastard sword, dwarven waraxe, longsword, two-bladed sword

Setting Sun: Short sword, Nunchaku, unarmed strike, quarterstaff

Shadow Hand: Dagger, sai, Siangham, short sword, spiked chain, unarmed strike

Stone Dragon: Greatsword, greataxe, heavy mace, unarmed strike

Tiger Claw: Kama, kukri, handaxe, claw, greataxe, unarmed strike

While Raven: Longsword, battleaxe, Warhammer, greatsword, halberd

The thing is, there are much more weapons in 3.5 than this, even in core and only counting the melee ones.

So, what would you guys add to each discipline? I'm mostly thinking of adding simple and martial weapons like the punching dagger or the scythe, but I guess a case could be made for some exotic weapons.

So?

I would backport "weapon groups" from Pathfinder and then assign weapon groups to disciplines instead of individual weapons. That's how Path of War did it.

Major problem: I don't play Pathfinder.

Also, the original discipline weapons are already spread out among many types of weapon.

Hence why you backport - so that you don't have to play Pathfinder. Here (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/fighter/#TOC-Weapon-Training-Ex-) is a list of weapon groups - it doesn't take a lot of imagination to figure out which ones should fit which, if any, disciplines.

Take it a step further: Here (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/path-of-war/disciplines-and-maneuvers/) is PF's alternative to ToB, Path of War. Under each discipline, you can find a list of that discipline's associated weapon groups. You could easily use those lists as a reference point when assigning weapon groups to ToB disciplines.

Eh... Weapon groups make a bit of sense, but Path of War is rather different. Still, it's a good start.

I want to just point out weapon groups originated in Unearthed Arcana, long before Pathfinder came out. You can find them on the D20 SRD
