Humanoids and outsiders in 3.5 and Pathfinder all have very specific subtypes (especially humanoids) that are required if you want to specify a type of humanoid or outsider in a lot of cases (such as favored enemy), but the list in Core is hardly comprehensive.

Anyone know where to find as comprehensive a list as has been made so far? I've looked, but the Googles, they do nothing!

Not a list as such, but a few searches might help: D&D Monster Finder (http://monsterfinder.dndrunde.de/)

The Monster List (http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/lists/monsters) also shows subtypes.

For Pathfinder, d20pfsrd has big lists of humanoids and outsiders (and abberations, and oozes, and etc...) It'll even tell you if the creature is 3rd party.

Pathfinder (the long column on the right is what you're looking for)
Humanoids (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/humanoids/)
Outsiders (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/outsiders/)
Remember that in Pathfinder, giants are a humanoid subtype.

Also:
Creature Types & Subtypes
(http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/rules-for-monsters/creature-types/)

About a third of the way down the page you'll find ALL the subtypes. The entries state what type the subtype falls under (if that subtype is exclusive to a monster type).

The official Pathfinder Reference Document has essentially the same thing (without any 3rd party stuff if that matters to you)

ctrl+F will be your best friend for the last 2 links.

I'm not sure if there's an equivalent list for all of 3.X's stuff, since I'm sure there are plenty of creatures that aren't OGL.

Hope this helps.
