How would you design a wand of entangle? Entangle is a level 1 spell, concentration of 1 min, no material components. Would the wand be uncommon? Require attunement? How many charges?

Other level 1 wands (magic detection, magic missile) don't require attunement. The former has 3 charges, regain 1d3/day. The latter has 7 charges, regain 1d6+1/day, but you can upcast magic missile.

Thoughts?

Generally I would try to avoid combat concentration spells on wands. Allowing everyone to use their concentration at such low cost is a bit skewed.

That said. 5 charges, d4 recovered per day and rare.

When I read the title of the post I thought it was about a cursed wand that would entangle the attempted user.

As to your dilemma, I say roll 1d6+1 and that is the number of charges, with it regaining 1d3 every dawn. As far as how common, for more elven/druidic regions have it be uncommon with no need for attunement. Unless there is a certain character who you want to have it or who is making it.
