First, already discussed in other threads.

Second, he did NOT get hungry after stomping the ground. He was hungry BEFORE stomping the ground. Nowhere did he say that he got hungrier after the stomp. In fact, he used the phrase "still hungry."

Didn't you know that stomping on the giant enemy ground for massive damage can only be achieved by regularly refueling with stew? MitD is simply preparing, lest the ground catch him unaware.

maybe hes really obese so stomping on the ground takes no effort at all, but because hes obese he likes eating.
