Ice/Winter based story

Shortly I will be running a quest about stopping a BBEG from bringing about an eternal winter on Faerun and need some help with ideas. Besides the 3.5 book, what else is there?

Got any other details? Storm King's Thunder has a good chunk of the story taking place in the north, with a lot of good ideas for encounters in the tundra. There is even a sub plot regarding giants seeking an artifact that does pretty much the same thing. I'd check it out if you have access to the book.

Honestly, I am just looking for anything. Old artifacts, villains, gods, old adventures, etc that I can use. And I do have that book and forgot about it. I will look into it

Isn't Legacy of the Crystal Shard exactly about this? And it has 5e rules with it as well.

I assume you're referring to Frostburn here? If not, check that out. There's also 4e adventure, Winter of the Witch, which might be relevant. And of course, I have to plug our Tundra Update (https://www.patreon.com/posts/tundra-update-7377427), which contains a bunch of monsters, items and other stuff!

If you're interested in bringing Fey into your story, the Tome of Beasts from Kobold Press has some cool lore and Fey bosses. I'm talking about the fey lords and ladies and particularly the Snow Queen.
