Basically how do we do a evil scientist in Pathfinder. What resources do we need, how much would it costs, what best spells do we use to achieve our dreams of horrific experimentation and knowledge?

List down your idea of what would be best to fit this trope in terms of:
(Assume Level 20 and appropriate Wealth by Level)

1) Class (don't have to get into your build, just the broadstrokes would do)

2) your evil Lair

3) Defense system of your evil lair

4) Field of study/experiments (what are your experiments about and why did you choose this particular experiment to work on)

5) End goal of your evil research

The Alchemist is practically the mad scientist class. As to the rest, depends on the owner.

Dude's running a private research facility. He's a villain. Why would you limit him to PC creation rules?

Just give him whatever you want him to have.

I second alchemist- reanimator with an army of undead seems fairly fitting. It stacks with preservationist so you could have a bunch of bottled specimens to release and have attack people as well.

How to replicate specific mad-scientists:

Reanimator is good for a Herbert West/Dr. Frankenstein character

Vivisectionist is a good one for a Dr. Moreau

Mad Scientist is just great for this idea overall, and would work okay for a Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde

And of course, the best and most important...

Promethean Alchemist is good for recreating Dr. Frankenfurter, especially once the Homunculus reaches medium size because then its a tad less creepy,

Just want to see what other people got running around in their heads. Nice to see some ideas being thrown into the thread.
