So one complaint about Battle Master is that it gets all its best abilities at level 2, then you're basically stuck with getting more times you can use them, enhanced ones and the ones you didn't like on your first time round. New idea: you get some maneuvers to start off with, then at level 7 and 10, you get the options to learn more of the first few, OR better ones which take up 2 attacks instead of 1. Then, at level 15, you can take any from the first two groups, or the new tier of maneuvers now available to you, which, you guessed it, take up three attacks. Thoughts?

The progression idea is good, but I don't think I would require 2 or 3 attacks for those maneuvers, just make them better, a la Four Elements. For instance, a 7th-level maneuver could remove a reaction, and a 15th-level one could paralyze the creature on a failed save.

It's not just the Battlemaster, it's the Fighter in general. They are missing another mechanic.
