An alternative to deathwatch

Just found this spell:

You look super-creepy, get a bite attack and a bonus to Intimidate and the DCs of fear spells you cast, and gain the same visual effect as deathwatch. But the spell doesn't have the evil descriptor. So, a good aligned healer-type could use it to monitor their allies' health.

Or you can just cast the Status spell.

I don't know about you, but i'd rather not get healed by a dude (or gal) who's weeping blood and has teeth like a horrormovie reject.
Also healers can already do that (and more) with Status and Greater Status.

Not that the spell isn't good. The +4 to fear spell DCs is kind of brokenly powerful for a 2nd level spell that lasts 10min/level, and any gish will be happy about a secondary natural attack.
But it doesn't exactly scream "healer" to me, you know?
