How plausible would it be to make an armor or shield based kensai? The abilities they get beyond enhanced gear would really transfer the same way to either one. Mayhaps pay half less xp for the "enchantments"?

There is also the eldritch warrior ACFs have a few nice things. There is also the homebrew Magitech Templar which basically gets iron man armor.

As to the shield, they can count as a weapon, might be able to use it with Kensai as is for the most part.

Thanks guys, I'll check them out - but let's just say that this is for a non-magic campaign and the enchantment bonus come from being really good at wielding the sword (for kensai) or ... being really good at wielding armor (lol)
