Here are some changes to core ranged combat feats because ranged requires optimization just to function appropriately in some circumstances. Far shot and wind effects strains belief, but this is D&D. Ranged has a harder of a time adding damage than melee does.

Point Blank Shot

You get a +1 bonus to attack rolls and damage rolls when attacking a target within 30 feet with a ranged weapon. If you have a BAB of at least +6, 5 ranks in tumble, and 15 Dexterity you may make a DC 20 Tumble check to avoid provoking attacks of opportunity when attacking with a ranged or thrown weapon. Your movement speeds are reduced by half for 1 round if you successfully make the tumble check.

Far Shot

When you use a projectile weapon, such as a bow, its range increment increases by one-half (multiply by 1). When you use a thrown weapon, its range increment is doubled. When using a ranged or thrown weapon underwater if you have a base attack bonus of at least +6, you may choose to halve the range increment to ignore all penalties related to making a ranged attack underwater. You may also use this feat in cases of extreme winds, but there is a 10% chance of the ranged attack failing per category above moderate wind (this allows you to ignore penalties to the attack roll or even make such attacks when they would ordinarily be impossible). You get a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls when attacking a target further than 1 range increment away with a ranged or thrown weapon.

Special: A DM may adjudicate that this feat helps with other environmental conditions as well.

Precise Shot

When using a ranged or thrown weapon, you get a +1 bonus to damage rolls against targets susceptible to critical hits and a +1 bonus to attack rolls. Against targets with damage reduction or hardness you deal +3 damage with ranged or thrown weapons. Only the +1 bonus damage is affected by whether the target is susceptible to critical hits.

Improved Precise Shot

When using a ranged or thrown weapon, you get a +1 bonus to damage rolls against targets susceptible to critical hits and a +1 bonus to attack rolls. Against targets with damage reduction or hardness you deal +3 damage with ranged or thrown weapons. This stacks with the precise shot feat. Only the +1 bonus damage is affected by whether the target is susceptible to critical hits.

Rapid Shot

When making multiple attacks (simultaneously or sequentially) with ranged or thrown weapons you get a +1 bonus on attack and damage rolls.

Multishot

When making multiple attacks (simultaneously or sequentially) with ranged or thrown weapons you get a +1 bonus on attack and damage rolls.

Shot on the Run

When you move at least 5 feet in a round, you get a +1 bonus on attack rolls and deal an extra 1d6 precision damage for all ranged and thrown weapon attacks.
