Pathfinder: Aqueous Orb

Right, I was going through spells for my master summoner, winter hang baddie... And I came across this spell: Aqueous Orb, and with the Winter Hag vulnerable to fire, it would seem plausible to take it if.... :

It automatically quenches any nonmagical fires and functions as dispel magic against magical fires as long as those fires are size Large or less...

Would it affect a fire damage dealing weapon?? (and a question for the rules, an acid weapon)??

I'm no Pathfinder expert, but it seems to me like a flaming sword would qualify as a magical fire of size large or less, so the sphere would probably make a check to suppress the sword's properties (by RAW, this seems to include non-flaming enhancements on the weapon as well, but I can see why one would houserule it to affect only the flaming part).
