If your game uses only MM creatures, yes. If not, then it depends on sources used in the game. And the GM can add or forbid any creature based on what he deems appropriate for the setting.

Probably not. Look under 'd' for the dinosaurs in the MM. And then there are Volo's Guide to Monsters, which has some more animals (mostly dinosaurs). And there are some more in Out of the Abyss.

My druid guide (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?397940-5e-Druid-Handbook-Land-amp-Moon) has, I believe, all the official, non-MM beasts mentioned somewhere. Either in 'On Beasts' in post 2, or in 'Volo's Guide to Animals' in post 5.

But as JackPhoenix points out, you should have a talk with your DM about the particulars of your campaign world.
