So, in my campaign, we just killed our first real dragon, and as a necromantic Oracle, I want to raise it for a pet, but have a couple questions.

It's wingless, so if I turn it into a Fast Zombie, can it still fly, even though it doesn't have wings?

If I raise it as any zombie or skeleton, can it move at all? I'm confused about this because of it's serpentine nature and supernatural flight.

Also, are there any templates or ways to raise an undead creature and still have it retain magical spells and such?

Thanks! Much appreciated!

Ask your DM if you can use/buy a scroll of the Animate Dread Warrior spell. It's a Sorc/Wiz spell, from 3.5, is limited by your HD (although you could cast it while under the effects of that Bard song that temporarily boosts HD to extend that limit a bit), and only works on Humanoids, but it's probably the closest thing you're gonna get. There's probably some way or another to make that Dragon's Corpse a Humanoid (at least temporarily); maybe polymorph wiill work?
